| License activation |
Sends the license key, Nokie organization and benefit identifiers, product major version, and a device label to Polar so it can create an activation. It does not send microphone audio or dictated text. |
| License validation |
Occurs at startup or when you choose Validate, never during active dictation. It sends the stored key and activation ID to Polar to confirm status and refresh the 30-day offline grace period. |
| Release checks |
Manual update checks use the releases page over HTTPS. The page can include version, checksum, architecture, minimum macOS, and notarization status. |
| Website requests |
Navigating https://nokie.app creates normal web requests. When configured, the site uses cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page, referral, demo, download, and checkout events. It does not collect audio, transcripts, clipboard contents, or typed text. |
| Support mail |
Support is an explicit customer action. A message contains only what you choose to send; Nokie does not attach transcripts or audio automatically. |
