Terms / EULA

A straightforward license for a focused Mac tool.

These terms govern the Nokie founder beta. By installing, activating, or using Nokie, you agree to them. Your statutory consumer rights still apply.

License grant

the Nokie seller identified at checkout grants the purchaser a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Nokie 1.x on up to two personal Macs they own or control.

Founder-beta status

The founder beta is pre-1.0 software. It has narrow compatibility boundaries, English-first transcription, and manual updates. Current limitations are published in release notes and support materials.

What updates mean

The purchase includes all 1.x updates. It does not promise lifetime updates or access to future major versions without a new offer.

Terms

Allowed use Use Nokie for lawful writing and dictation tasks on hardware listed as supported for the downloaded release. A founder license covers two personal Macs and includes Nokie 1.x updates.
Restrictions Do not resell, sublicense, redistribute, bypass license enforcement, or reverse engineer Nokie except where applicable law expressly permits it. Do not use Nokie to violate another person’s rights.
Ownership The software, site, brand, and related materials remain the property of the Nokie seller identified at checkout or its licensors. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
Purchase and activation Nokie is purchased once for $29. Licenses use Polar for activation and support two devices. A validated license can continue offline for up to 30 days.
Payment and refunds Polar is the merchant of record for checkout, applicable taxes, receipts, and refunds. Refund requests made within 14 days of purchase are handled under the refund policy.
Privacy Dictation stays local. Limited licensing, site, update, and support traffic is described in the privacy notice.
Support Founder-beta support is available at support@nokie.app, with a target response time of one business day during the founder beta.
Termination This license ends if you materially breach these terms. On termination, stop using and remove Nokie. Refunds or statutory remedies are unaffected where the law says otherwise.
Warranty and liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nokie is provided “as is” without implied warranties, and the seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
